This is my 3rd Mermaid parade, and like everything I do more than once, I try to have a different experience of it the next time around. Over the last year I've grown so much with photography, but none of it will have matter too much when it comes to photographing a parade in the afternoon sun.
The Sun was shining, the girls were winin', and everybody seemed to be having a great day on Eastern Parkway at the 43rd Annual West Indian Labor Day Parade.
I describe my experience at the parade, and get a bit technical in my use and description of the sunny 16 rule of photography.
