It's just a tacky situation.
I'm trying to work on my Photoshop facility in the hopes that I can do more composite work like this. I started this image with a stock image I found online and started to piece it together with elements I had in my own photography library. I'm definitely gonna try this again soon. Took about an hour and a half of work. ![]()
I've been feeling inspired by the snow and winter to shoot these scenes. I used a custom bokeh "filter" to get the star effect in the out of focus lights.
I went outside during the 1/11/11 Snowstorm with my Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 lens mounted. I popped my on camera flash knowing I'd get the bright light bouncing off the falling flakes. This was just as the storm was intensifying and there was about an inch already on the ground. Innocuous particles can cause hours and days of head and heartache. Happy Commute!

We've been having a particularly stormy and icy winter this year. I think I finally have the chance to take those kinds of photos which make me jealous of more remotely located photographers. The New York Renaissance Faire is a Renaissance faire located in Tuxedo, New York off New York State Route 17A. As of 2010, the faire is in its 33rd season. The 65 acres faire comprises permanent structures and has twenty stages and more than 100 shops.The fair runs every weekend from the beginning of August to the third weekend in September.
They're a young couple living in Brooklyn NY. They plan to get married in 2011 and have recently booked me to take their engagement photos.
