I practiced some diligence in searching for other business with the name, and for other photographers using the name. I did come across a few photographers' websites who were using CAT, or some variation of it- kat, cats, or kats.
I shot this one with a lens I don't often get to use, the Pentax Takumar 135mm mounted on my Canon Rebel T1I. I used an Alien Bee 400 Strobe mounted in a Gridded Softbox pointing down on the figure from directly above the camera.
Another winter inspired shot. This was taken by the post office just across from Madison Square Garden, 8th avenue.
This video gave me a lot of inspiration. I hope you'll pull a lot of useful information out of it as well.
I thought I would take a picture of most of my kit. I figure it'd come in handy to keep track of my gear, for insurance, as well as maybe for income tax records, who knows. I had the honor of capturing Dara and Jamel as they prepared to get married later this year. I was in a new, totally before unseen grounds where I had to think on my feet to get these images.
I own one of these, and they're the exact tool for the job when you don't have, or would rather not use a light stand to mount a light source.
