Spring is actually here, believe it or not. One of my annual spring-time activities is a walk through the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I challenge myself each time I visit to see something new-- some detail or some new perspective that I haven't photographed before. On Valentine's day I spent the evening at Etsy labs working on painting of glass hearts, the one's we're holding up in the photo. It was fun, reminded me of being in elementary, or middle school.
We've been having a particularly stormy and icy winter this year. I think I finally have the chance to take those kinds of photos which make me jealous of more remotely located photographers.
