I've had a macro lens adapter for several years now, but never had the motivation to try to get the darned thing working. The trouble with macro photography, and with using front element attachments - is that you have to work soooo close to your subject, that it's not easy to remain comfortable for long enough to get a good shot of your subject. I'm excited to finally have a model I can work with; one that wont get bored, or tired, or hungry, and that I can pose just so. She's got 26 or so points of articulation, which will have to do. I do wish her neck and hips were more flexible though. I can't manage to get her to take some seated poses that involve wrapping her arms around both of her legs; she's just not pliable enough.
